Our Authority In Jesus

"And Jesus came saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."
(Mt 28:18)

Jesus was given the privilege and right to act as He would have done (instead of what we want), and the right of governmental authority over everything in heaven and in earth.
This authority gives fresh new meaning to our relationship with Him. His authority stands behind us, giving us the authority and ability to do as He has commanded us. And nothing can counter or stand against His authority, because it is the highest there is.
The power of the name of Jesus guarantees us that our prayers are heard, and that they will be answered. Not only just simply because God loves us, but also as a favor to Jesus.

Jesus gave us the right and privilege to use His authority, and that authority is literally God's authority! That means when we take a stand against the devil and his works, and we stand on our scriptural right to cast him out of our lives, minds and bodies, then our orders to him to get out have the very same force they would have if they had been spoken by God Himself! May it be if we have to go through injustice or when things are unfair, or even if we are being exploited, taken advantage of; the thought of knowing that Christ is above all, above the ruler of this Nation that I live, above the boss and CEO of any organization it gives me peace. It sets me free from being bitter. Yet this authority is to be experienced when we abide in Him in every area of our life. Jesus Christ requires his disciples to abide in him. If we follow Jesus Christ, then we are also his disciples; we are expected to abide in him. Our response to the commandment of Christ determines our reaction of choices in Life. To me “all authority” in the verse has given me a victorious life here and now on earth. The same spirit that resurrected Christ is the same spirit that lives in me in my daily walk. Let us examine our walk with God that we may have our life to the abundance that has been promised to us.
