"Jesus Feeding The Five Thousand" - Elder Ho

John 6:9 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”


The young boy made a decision to follow Jesus
When we choose to follow Jesus, it is not a one time experience but it is an experience that will change our lives, minds, hearts and actions. It is a transformation process.

The young boy gave what he had to Jesus
After making the decision to follow Jesus, he gave to Jesus all of what he had, 5 loaves and 2 fish. When we give Jesus what we have, He will transform it into something greater!

God has placed the 5 loaves and 2 fishes (our gifts and talents) in our lives. Are we willing to give it to God for Him to multiply it in our lives and in the lives of others?It is important that we recognise it because Jesus can take our little and transform it to much. 

Be generous in our response
It is not about what we want but its about how we can bless somebody else and with that are we willing to serve others with the main purpose of it being because we love Jesus?
Has God placed a desire in your heart to rise up?


When we have a personal encounter with Jesus and choose to follow Jesus, Jesus will increase and we will decrease. Faith is the next step after making the choice to follow Jesus.
It will change our lives, our hearts and our actions. In making our choices and decisions, He will give us wisdom and guide us. We need to come to a place where we have a personal encounter with God because it us life changing.

Coming to Christ is not about doing good deeds but its an act of repentance that will change our minds, hearts and actions. It is because we love Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him is that we do good and love others.
