Sunday Sermon Recap

Family Sunday
Elder Dorai

Remain true to the faith

Act 14:19-20
19 Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. 20 But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.

Remain with what you have been taught and believe.
Do not stop, do not give up.

We will go through many hardships.
Paul was referring to persecution.
- Every one who wants to live a Godly life, will be persecuted.

2 Timothy 3: 10-12
10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

"God has His Time"
End times - many will turn away from the faith
Matthew 24

We must be faithful witness
Only Jesus can make us right with God, and we are the Key!
The world is crying "We want to get right with God!" And we have the answer.

Anyone can share the gospel.

Keep sharing
A faithful witness depends on the power of the Gospel and not on themselves.

You will receive power!
And you will become witnesses.

Make others faithful witness
We need to equip ourselves and other!

Acts 18:23
23 After spending some time in Antioch, Paul set out from there and traveled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.

Acts 15: 32
32 Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.

Would you start encouraging someone instead of waiting around?

Be committed to the God of witness

When you are alone, the enemy will pick you out and bring you down you.
