The moral of this story is that those who show no willingness to contribute to a product do not deserve to enjoy the product: "if any would not work, neither should he eat." 2 Thessalonians 3:10 ; For even when we where with you, we gave you this rule: " The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.
I see another Parallel Story in the bible from Mark 4: 1- 20. Its the parable of the sower. We have heard this story many times and know the whats the point of the story.
Dear Friends,
We do the same thing in our daily life just like the children story above. We don't spend time reading the word, we are not discipline in our prayer life, we neglect our daily and consistent relationship with Christ, we do not stand firm and make choices abiding the word of God but YET when we face exam, when we are sick, when we get into trouble, when we want something, we expect God MUST answer us.We need to evaluate ourself and align ourself to the word of God. Its a daily affair, a daily continuos and a consistent lifestyle when it comes to our relationship with God. He is not an ATM machine and we should take our loving father for granted!
We are loved by God! Remain in the love by following His example (Ephesians 5:1).
