An Intro to the Book of Daniel
The first 6 chapters of the book of Daniel, is about the story of Daniel and the 3 friends successfully bearing witness to their faith before a hostile world.
IN CHALLENGE AND DIFFICULTY THEY FIND THAT GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL.

Babylon.
- A warring nation. Invaded Israel
-Israel in captivity and under Babylonian rule.
-15 y/o Taken and forced to serve in the King's service.
-What would you feel as one of these 15y/o?
-Dignity?

In every season "God Gave"! 
-God gave us this season.
-Sometimes we take things we are given for granted.

Recognise that What You Have is Given by God
-You do not recognise what God gives you.
-We always want new things and are not content by what has been given to us already.
-Opportunities are wasted because they weren't seized.

But the 4 friends seized it and stood firm!

In the midst of persecution Daniel did well.
In a Non-Christian country, God prevailed and Christ was revealed through Daniel and the 3 friends!

God gave Daniel favor, talents, spiritual gifts, position and the ability to do well!

Our teen years, from ages 13-19, is a very short time in our life, but in this time there is much to be done.

God Leads Us In These Seasons
V9 God leads through favor.

He leads:

-by using people around us, even non-Christians,
- in the supernatural when you stand firm in your faith v14
-leads in knowledge, intelligence, and wisdom v17

By being faithful, they were better than those around them 10-fold.

What is our season now in our lives?
Seasons come and go, but hold on to God's plan in your life for that period of time.

How do you seize the season??

- Recognize what he has already given you.
- Be apart of God's plan and play your part in it.

- Do your best in whatever role you have

BE FAITHFUL IN EVERYTHING NO MATTER BIG OR SMALL.

Are you playing your part in His plan?
